Dan Tynan of PC World reports on the Top 10 Worst PCs of All Time:
Misery, heartbreak, sorrow, and despair. No, I’m not talking about adolescence; I’m referring to what happens when you’re stuck with a PC from Hell. Systems that were overpriced and underpowered, parts that failed two days after the warranty expired, marathon phone calls with brain-dead tech support staff–over the years we’ve suffered more than our share of ills, and so have millions of other innocent PC users.
But picking these 10 Worst PCs of All Time wasn’t as easy as it sounds. First we had to set a few ground rules. Number one, we focused strictly on desktops. (We’ll leave the flaming/exploding laptops for another occasion.) Two, these machines had to have shipped to consumers–no vaporware or concept computers allowed.
So here are the Top 10 Worst PCs:
10. Dell Dimension 4600 (2003)
9. New Internet Computer (2000)
8. eMachines eTower 366c (1999)
7. Commodore VIC 20 (1981)
6. Texas Instruments TI-99/4 (1979)
5. IBM PS/1 (1990-1994)
4. Apple III (1980-1984)
3. Coleco Adam (1983)
2. Mattel Barbie PC (1999-2000)
1. Packard Bell PCs (1986-1996)

With a lot of exciting happenings on the web today, we need to always catch up right? Imagine yourself on a beach, under the summer sun, enjoying the scenery while still connected to the information superhighway. Isn’t that a perfect moment that most of use wants to experience? Unfortunately, wireless broadband access is pricey these days and bulky laptop might hinder your mobility. Let’s admit it..most of us can’t afford to buy Vaio lappy and UMPCs. It’s just too expensive!Mobile device however, is one thing we can afford. Get a decent J2ME-enabled or Symbian Phone and download plusmo.com’s software. plusmo.com is a company that will truly mobilize you and your phone. With their software, you can get updates of your favorite blogs, news sites and even locate the nearest Starbucks for FREE!
It really rocks and runs smoothly on my Treo 650 phone! Now, I can get access to information anytime, anywhere at a fraction of a cost.
A perfect reason to avail of the Smart GRPS pricing which is PhP 10.00 per 30 minutes!

Jeff Pollard of Drivl.com :
Before you hire some company to redo your website, take a moment to read the 10 most important things for you to understand about that process. Charlton Heston free!
I’ve been working in web design/development for a long time now, both as a hobby and as a profession. During my tenure, I’ve grown to understand a lot about how this industry works, most of which seems totally lost on the clientel that walks through the door. They seem to think that through some sort of black magic, a lot of clicking, a white board, 45 minutes, and a kazoo I will make them this killer website. Sorry, not true.
Some of the points he discussed are very true unfortunately.
